Patrick Barron lives in San Francisco, where he teaches English at City College of San Francisco. He is also managing editor of the journal ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment. His books include Circle of Teeth: 55 Poems, the novel Circling Brooks: Transmogrifications, and Italian Environmental Literature: An Anthology (Italica Press). His translation projects include Gianni Celati's Verso la foce ("Journey to the Mouth of the Po") and "The Selected Poetry and Prose of Andrea Zanzotto," a comprehensive anthology of Zanzotto's creative and critical work from the beginning of his career to the present.
