David Goldstein's translations and original poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Parnassus, The Journal, RE:AL, Orion, and elsewhere. He also writes about food, music, and books for various national magazines. He is currently pursuing a PhD in English at Stanford University, where he co-edits Mantis, a journal of poetry, poetics, and translation.
