Lynn Hoggard

Lynn Hoggard, a past president of the American Literary Translators Association, teaches French and English at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. She has published translations of a Paul Valéry long poem (Sketch of a Serpent, Thorp Springs Press, 1989) and of an Henri Michaux prose poem collection (Tent Posts, Sun & Moon Press, 1997). She received an NEH grant for summer/fall 2000 to translate Marie d'Agoult's novel Nélida.
