Life Jensen lives in Oakland, California. A native Dane, he was born in 1951. He studied Scandinavian language and literature at the University of Århus, Denmark. He has lived in the US since 1977. After 15 years as a general building contractor he became a professional translator, mostly of technical material into Danish. He is also a fine artist. This is his first literary translation.
