Betty Rose NagleBetty Rose Nagle, Associate Professor of Classical Studies, has taught at Indiana University since 1978. For most of her scholarly life, she has concentrated on works by the Roman poet Ovid, including a translation of his poetic calendar of the religious year, Fasti: Roman Holidays (Indiana University Press, 1995). She is currently translating the Silvae, a collection of occasional poetry by the Roman poet Statius.
