John RossJohn Ross is a journalist who has been covering Mexico with attitude for thirty years. His book Rebellion from the Roots, chronicling the first year of the Zapatista rebellion, received an American Book Award in 1995. He is also a beatnik commie poet who has published seven chapbooks and a novel, Tonatiuh's People: A Novel of the Mexican Cataclysm.
