Bogdan Stefanescu

Bogdan Stefanescu, a member of the English Department at the University of Bucharest, was a Fulbright lecturer at the University Park campus of Penn State for 1996-97. He has translated short volumes of Nichita Stanescu, Constantin Noica, and Mircea Eliade into English, and a wide variety of British and American writers into Romanian. He has also written on literature and translation.
