Two Voices brings the finest international writers and translators to San Francisco for events that showcase originality, depth, and impact. It is the Bay Area’s only literary series focusing on international literature.
We host author and translator readings in parallel with the release of books in translation, including titles published by Two Lines Press. We offer dynamic interactive events and explore contemporary issues and trends in translation and world literature, as well translation workshops and craft talks plus book groups and discussions, along with monthly Salons. Two Voices also plans events showcasing the work of other presses and organizations devoted to world writing.
We partner with great local bookstores and cultural organizations like Green Apple Books on the Park, Diesel: A Bookstore, Litquake, The Book Club of California, the Bay Area Book Festival, and many others.
Check out a full event schedule here.
Previous Two Voices readers include Edith Grossman, Robert Hass, Natasha Wimmer, Naja Marie Aidt, Yuri Herrera and Daniel Alarcon, and Toni Sala.
