Afrizal Malna (b.1957 in Jakarta, Indonesia) is a poet, artist, and writer of short stories, novels, literary essays, and plays. His work has won a number of national and international literary honors, and he has performed at poetry festivals throughout Asia and Europe. His books available in English translation include Document Shredding Museum (Reading Sideways Press, 2019) and Morning Slanting to the Right (Reading Sideways Press, 2021).
