Catherine Xinxin Yu

Catherine Xinxin Yu (she/they) is a literary translator working with Chinese and English. They were a 2025 ALTA Travel Fellow and Peter K. Jansen Memorial Travel Fellow, and they were shortlisted for the 2025 PEN Presents x International Booker Prize grant as the translator of Little Brother by Chan Wai. They’ve also translated works by Mukyu, Wu Ming-Yi, Hsu En-En, He Wun-Jin, and others, and their works have appeared in Asymptote Journal, Full Stop, The Oxonian Review, and elsewhere.
