Roger Caillois

Roger Caillois (1913–1978) wrote the text published in Pierres (Stones) in his later years. It represents one further step in his lifelong quest—away from the Surrealists—that aspired to a new poetic reconciling science and art, phenomena and the imagination, the material and the spiritual worlds.
