Tarek Eltayeb

Tarek Eltayeb was born to Sudanese parents in Cairo in 1959. He is a faculty member of the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. His poetry collections include We Sold the Ground and Were Happy with the Dust (2010) and Not Sin (2011). He has presented his work at many international literature festivals.
