Piotr Szewc

Piotr Szewc is a Polish writer, poet, and literary critic. All three of his novels The Annihilation, Sunsets and Daybreaks, and Storks over the State, describe a single day in a single place, a few hours of pre-war life in a Jewish-Polish town with echoes of Zamosc, where Szewc grew up. Szewc is also the author of collections of interviews and a book of poetry and works as an editor of the journal Nowe Ksiazki in Warsaw. (Photo credit: Ela Lempp)
