Anna Lidia Vega Serova (born in Leningrad in 1968) grew up between Cuba and the former Soviet Union, settling in Havana in 1989. “Our Daily Day,” like much of her work, imaginatively portrays the physical experiences and emotional aspirations of characters coping with material hardship.
