Adriana Lisboa is a Brazilian writer. She is the author of six novels and has published poetry, short stories, and books for chidlren. She has won the José Saramago Prize for Sinfonia em branco (Symphony in White), a Japan Foundation Fellowship for Rakushisha (Hut of Fallen Persimmons), and a fellowship from the Brazilian National Library, to name a few of her literary recognitions.
