Alejandra Costamagna (Chile, 1970) is a writer and journalist. Her fiction includes the story collections Animales domésticos and Imposible salir de la Tierra, and the novels En voz baja, Dile que no estoy, and El sistema del tacto (Herralde Prize finalist in 2018). She was a resident of the University of Iowa’s International Writing Program in 2003 and won the Anna Seghers Literary Prize in Germany in 2008. Costamagna holds a PhD in literature.
