Allison M. Charette

Translator, French

Allison Charette is a translator and writer whose work has been published by Centro Primo Levi Editions, Arcade Publishing, the SAND Journal, InTranslation, and others. Her translations have been used as supertitles in various places, including Carnegie Hall. Allison founded the Emerging Literary Translators' Network in America (ELTNA) and currently serves on the board of the American Literary Translators Association (ALTA). She has lived in several regions throughout France, teaching English to schoolchildren and translating all the while.
