Antoine Jockey was born in Beirut in 1966 and now lives in Paris. He has translated many Arabic-language poets into French, including Abbas Beydoun, Sargon Boulus, Abdelkader al-Jannabi, and Joumana Haddad. His translation of an anthology of new Palestine poetry, La poeme palestinien, was published by Le Taillis Pré in 2008.
