John G. Peters

John G. Peters, distinguished research professor of English at the University of North Texas, has translated Takamura Kōtarō’s The Chieko Poems (Chieko Shō, Green Integer, 2007), and his translations of Takamura’s poetry have also appeared in such literary magazines as Artful Dodge, Sonora Review, Tampa Review, Quarterly West, The Literary Review, Utne Reader, Crab Orchard Review, Poet Lore, Spoon River Poetry Review, and Mid-American Review.
