Kayvan Tahmasebian

Kayvan Tahmasebian is a poet, translator, and literary critic based in Isfahan. His poetry has appeared in Notre Dame Review, the Hawai’i Review, Salt Hill, and Lunch Ticket, where it was a finalist for The Gabo Prize for Literature in Translation & Multilingual Texts in 2017. His co-translations of Elahi have appeared in Tin House, Poetry Wales, Waxwing, Acumen Literary Journal, and the McNeese Review and are forthcoming in the Kenyon Review. His co-translated chapbook, High Tide of the Eyes: Poems by Bijan Elahi is forthcoming from The Operating System in 2019.
