Marcel Cohen

Marcel Cohen was born in the Paris suburb of Asnières in 1937. Since his debut novel in 1969, he has published numerous volumes made up of short narratives. Several of his books have been translated into English, including Mirrors, The Emperor Peacock Moth, and Walls. In the U.S. he is perhaps best known for his volume of interviews with Edmond Jabès, published in English as From the Desert to the Book.
