P. H. Liotta received a Pushcart Prize, NEA fellowship, and the Winner Memorial Award from the Poetry Society of America for The Ruins of Athens: A Balkan Memoir. His work has been translated into Bulgarian, French, Greek, Japanese, Macedonian, Spanish, and Serbo-Croatian.
