Raffaello Baldini

Raffaello Baldini (1924–2005) was born in Santarcangelo di Romagna and lived in Milan from 1955 until his death. He is the author of six collections of poetry, all written in Emiliano-Romagnolo dialect, and three theatrical monologues. His book Ad nòta (1995) won the the Premio Bagutta and his Furistír (1988) won the Premio Viareggio. (Photo credit: courtesy of Critica Letteraria)
