Susan Wan Dolling

Susan Wan Dolling was born and raised in Hong Kong, studied in Japan for two years, and received an AB in English and Creative Writing and a PhD in Comparative Literature, all from Princeton. She has taught at various universities and now lives and works in Austin, Texas. Her most recent publications include short stories in the Columbia Anthology of Modern Chinese Literature and Family Catastrophes (University Hawaii Press), a book-length translation of Wang Wen-hsing’s Modernist classic.
