Titos Patrikios is a Greek poet born in Athens in 1928. A member of the intellectual left in postwar Greece, he survived imprisonment, hard labor, censorship, and exile. Apart from fifteen collections of poetry, Patríkios has published essays and three books of prose. He has translated work of Lukács, Aragon, Stendhal, Balzac, and Valéry.
