Tomoyuki Endo

Tomoyuki Endo is an assistant professor at Wako University in Tokyo, teaching poetry of the 20th century ranging from Ezra Pound, William Carlos Williams, Gary Snyder, Nishiwaki Junzaburo, Kitasono Katsue, and Miyazawa Kenji, to the lyrics of popular music such as The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley and others. He also is a co-translator, with Forrest Gander, of Kazuko Shiraishi’s My Floating Mother, City (New Directions), and loves to cook.
