Madeleine Watts grew up in Sydney, Australia and now lives in New York. Since 2014 she has been a bookseller at McNally Jackson in Soho. Her work has appeared in The White Review, The Lifted Brow, and Los Angeles Review of Books. Her debut novel The Inland Sea is forthcoming form Catapult in 2021.
