The Anthea Bell Prize for Young Translators(opens in a new tab) named its 2023 winners, with applicants’ ages ranging from 11 to 18 and submissions being translated from French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Mandarin.

Gulf Coast Magazine is accepting prose submissions for the 2023 Gulf Coast Prize in Translation(opens in a new tab) until August 31. The Prize will be judged by Katrina Dodson serving as the prizes’ judge. The winner will receive $1,000 and publication in the magazine, and two honorable mentions will receive $250 each.
