Among countless reasons the best

Among countless reasons the best
is the last.

Among countless reasons the best
is the last. Were there other habitable worlds,
everything there would still be the same—because
each possible world is the only real one. It’s the reality
in which we live. Still, all things search
for diversity and colorfulness; it’s
no wonder. The impossible will soon
become normal. Everything, one may be
bound to say, is not enough. Least of all
somebody’s life. Take this, for instance.
